Passwords of 5 lakh IoT devices Sold out.San Francisco: A hacker sold out more than 5 lakh username and passwords of IoT devices, Security Cameras, Routers in Dark Web.

ZDNet Report said that the list of Telnet Credentials has been published in a popular online hacking forum. The Credentials include the devices IP address, Username and Password of Telnet service. Direct Denial of Service(DDoS) Botnet Operator has published the list online.

Data Breaches in 2019:

There are more than 7.9 billion records, including credit card numbers, Phone numbers, Address and more information were exposed. These shows that more data were unsecured. Check here the list of data breaches in 2019.

There is no doubt Iot devices will be a future of Technology Evolution in House,Office,public places, schools and Colleges etc.

People is slowly adopting to IOT devices in Home like Alexa,Google Home etc. But what about privacy and security.

Tech Companies must focus on Security and privacy First instead of Features.
