Ultrasonic sensor(HC-SR04)

What is ultrasonic sensor ?

ultrasonic sensor is an electronic device which is used to calculate the distance of an object using ultrasonic waves.

Like bats,It also uses ultrasonic sound waves.

How it works?

Ultra sonic sensor consists of a transmitter and a receiver.

Transmitter:

It transmits the ultrasonic waves and it is reflected back by hitting in any object.

Receiver:

It receives the ultrasonic waves which is reflected from the object.

Calculation: Distance = ½ T×C (T = Time and C = the speed of sound)

At 20°C (68°F), the speed of sound is 343 meters/second (1125 feet/second), but this varies depending on temperature and humidity.

How to use it?

It is used with Arduino, nodemcu, Raspberry pi, or some other kits.
